Scandinavian Condominium Interior Design in Penang
Amarene is a modern Scandinavian condominium interior design project located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. Designed for a young professional couple, this 1100 square feet condominium focuses on simplicity, functionality, and cozy everyday living.
The overall interior design concept combines soft neutral tones, warm textures, and clean architectural lines to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Inspired by Scandinavian interior design principles, the home balances minimalism with practical living solutions suitable for modern urban lifestyles in Penang.
Space planning played a major role throughout the project. Smart storage solutions were carefully integrated into the condominium to maximise functionality without overwhelming the living spaces. Concealed cabinetry, custom carpentry, and multi-purpose furniture help maintain a clutter-free environment while preserving the clean visual language of the home.
The enclosed kitchen was designed for better organisation and easier maintenance. At the same time, the minimalist kitchen design improves spatial flow and creates a cleaner overall appearance within the condominium.
Inside the living room, a clean TV feature wall helps reduce visual clutter while enhancing the sense of spaciousness. Subtle patterned wall finishes were also introduced across selected areas including the living area and bedrooms to add personality and warmth without overpowering the Scandinavian design direction.
The master bedroom features a hidden door panel integrated seamlessly within the wardrobe design. This customised detail allows discreet access to the bathroom while maintaining a clean and cohesive bedroom aesthetic.
Natural lighting, practical space planning, and carefully selected materials work together to create a comfortable condominium home that feels timeless, functional, and inviting for daily living.
