This Jelutong Penang interior design project at Setia Sky Ville was carefully designed to create a modern, practical and calming living environment for urban condominium living.
Located in the heart of Jelutong, Penang, this condominium renovation focuses on smart space planning, functional storage solutions and a timeless modern interior concept. The overall palette uses layered grey tones, warm textures and subtle lighting to create a comfortable and sophisticated atmosphere.
Right from the entrance area, built-in storage cabinetry was designed to maximise functionality while maintaining a clean and seamless visual appearance. Every storage solution was customised to suit the homeowner’s lifestyle and daily routine.
The open-plan living and dining layout improves natural flow between spaces and enhances the sense of openness within the condominium unit. In addition, carefully designed ceiling details help separate each area subtly without making the home feel enclosed.
The living room features a textured cement-effect TV wall that adds depth and character to the interior space. Glass display cabinetry and modern built-in elements further enhance the contemporary design language of the home.
Adjacent to the living area, the dining space was designed around a modern marble round table concept to encourage family interaction and comfortable gatherings. The design balances aesthetics with practicality for everyday use.
One of the bedrooms was transformed into a multifunctional home office with customised window bay seating. Besides functioning as a productive workspace, the room can also be converted into a guest bedroom whenever needed.
Another room was designed as a flexible guest room and wellness corner featuring a raised tatami platform design. This allows the space to function comfortably for relaxation, yoga sessions or overnight stays.
For the master bedroom, darker tones were introduced to create a more restful and cosy atmosphere. Dark grey curtains, wood textures and indirect warm lighting work together to create a calm sleeping environment.
